Good afternoon and Namaste!
It is my profound honor to address this distinguished gathering under the auspices of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Nepal, the Friends of Silk Road Club Nepal, and the China Nepal Center for Political Party Governance Studies. We convene today to commemorate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), a truly monumental milestone. With the theme “The CPC at 105: Historical Experience and Inspirations for Nepal’s Development,” I extend heartfelt gratitude to the organizers for this privilege.

各位阁下、尊敬的嘉宾、各位与会代表：
大家下午好！Namaste（那玛斯戴）！
在中国驻尼泊尔大使馆、尼泊尔丝绸之路之友俱乐部（Friends of Silk Road Club Nepal）、以及尼泊尔中国政党治理研究中心（China Nepal Center for Political Party Governance Studies）的共同主办下，我深感荣幸能在此向各位尊贵的来宾致辞。今天我们齐聚一堂，隆重纪念中国共产党成立105周年——这是一个真正具有里程碑意义的历史时刻。本次会议以“中共建党105周年的历史经验和对尼泊尔的启示”为主题，谨向主办方致以诚挚谢意，感谢给予我这一宝贵机会。
Distinguished Participants,
Since its founding on July 1, 1921, the CPC has completed a remarkable 105 years of historical revolutionary journey. What began with vanguard of just 50 members, has grown into the world’s largest political party, with over 101 million members across millions of grassroots organizations. This is a true marvel of political organization and longevity. The historic achievements of the CPC are fundamentally rooted on its disciplined governance and ability to combine Marxism Leninism with China’s concrete realities of revolution and construction and fine cultural development, creating a unique model of socialism.
尊敬的各位与会嘉宾：
中国共产党自1921年7月1日成立以来，已走过105年波澜壮阔的革命与建设征程。从最初仅50余名先锋党员，发展成为拥有超过1.01亿党员、遍布数百万基层组织的世界最大政党，这本身就是政治组织力与生命力的奇迹。中国共产党的历史性成就，根本在于其严明的纪律治理，以及将马克思列宁主义与中国革命、建设和优秀文化发展的具体实际相结合，成功开创了独具特色的社会主义道路。
Throughout various historical ups and down, the Party has demonstrated that effective party and state governance requires absolute ideological clarity, correct ideological and political line, strong discipline, rigorous internal anti-corruption measures, and an unwavering commitment to institutional building. Guiding the Chinese people through new Democratic Revolution, socialist transformation and socialist modernization, the three great leaders of CPC -Comrade Mao Tsetung, Comrade Deng Xiaoping and the President Xi Jinping have consistently identified the key challenges of each era, formulate correct policy, built broad unity, maintained strong party discipline, and upheld the Mass Line“from the masses, to the masses.” This people centered and people first philosophy remains a powerful example of responsive and visionary leadership of China.
在历经各种历史起伏中，中国共产党始终证明：有效的党和国家治理，必须建立在坚定的思想清醒、正确的思想政治路线、严格的纪律约束、坚决的内部反腐败机制，以及毫不动摇的制度建设承诺之上。在毛泽东同志、邓小平同志和习近平总书记三代伟大领导人的坚强引领下，中国共产党团结带领中国人民，先后完成了新民主主义革命、社会主义改造和社会主义现代化建设的伟大历史任务。党始终准确把握不同历史时期的核心课题，科学制定符合国情和发展阶段的战略方针，凝聚起最广泛的人民共识；始终坚持铁的纪律，确保全党步调一致、行动统一；始终践行“从群众中来，到群众中去”的根本群众路线。这种“以人民为中心、人民至上”的理念，至今仍是展现中国负责任、有远见领导力的生动典范。
From this spectacular record of CPC, Nepal can learn the value of strong political institutions, correct line and firm internal discipline. The CPC shows that a party must stay closely linked to its grassroots through the Mass Line, keeping policies guided by public needs. For Nepal, the CPC’s experience highlights that correct line, closer relation with broad masses, long-term political stability, institutional accountability and a tough anticorruption framework are the essential foundations for effective governance.
从中国共产党的辉煌历程中，尼泊尔可以汲取宝贵经验：坚强的政治制度、正确的路线方向、严格的内部纪律至关重要。中国共产党表明，一个政党必须通过群众路线紧密联系基层，确保政策始终回应人民需求。对尼泊尔而言，中共经验昭示我们：正确的政治路线、与广大民众的紧密联系、长期的政治稳定、制度化的问责机制，以及强有力的反腐败框架，是实现有效治理的根本基石。
Dear Friends,
The CPC’s journey offers the global community with an alternative paradigm for socioeconomic progress, proving that development models are not one-size-fits-all. Under the visionary leadership of Comrade Deng Xiaoping, China embarked on a transformative era of Reform and Opening Up, successfully pioneering the path of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. Rather than passively copying external socio-political blueprints, China carved out a path based on independence, creativity, and pragmatic model. This approach has delivered historic results: a vibrant socialist democracy, rapid growth in the economy, science, technology, and infrastructure; major advances in modernization; the complete eradication of absolute poverty; and steady progress toward the second centenary goal of building " a modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, harmonious and beautiful" by 2049.
亲爱的朋友们：
中国共产党的发展道路为全球提供了一种替代性的社会经济发展范式，有力证明了发展模式不能搞“一刀切”。在邓小平同志的高瞻远瞩领导下，中国开启了改革开放的伟大时代，成功开辟了中国特色社会主义道路。中国没有照搬外部社会政治模板，而是立足独立自主、开拓创新与务实精神，走出了一条属于自己的路。这一路径取得了历史性成果：充满活力的社会主义民主、经济、科技与基础设施的飞速发展、现代化进程的重大突破、绝对贫困的全面消除，并稳步迈向第二个百年奋斗目标——到2049年建成“富强民主文明和谐美丽的社会主义现代化强国”。
Today, China stands as a major engine of global development and a pillar of international cooperation, advancing five visionary initiatives: the BRI, GDI, GCI, GSI, and GGI. These reflect the leadership vision from present great leader Comrade Xi Jinping, supported by the tireless efforts of the Chinese communists and Chinese people. Building on this strong historic foundation, China continues to promote global connectivity, shared prosperity, and genuine multilateralism.
今日之中国，已成为全球发展的重要引擎与国际合作的支柱，积极推进五大全球倡议：“一带一路”倡议,全球发展倡议，全球文明倡议，全球安全倡议，全球治理倡议。这些倡议体现了当代伟大领袖习近平同志的领导远见，得到了中国共产党人和中国人民不懈奋斗的坚定支持。在此坚实历史基础上，中国持续推动全球互联互通、共同繁荣与真正的多边主义。
On this milestone anniversary, I would like to extend my warmest and most sincere congratulations to the leadership and the entire membership of the Communist Party and peoples republic of China through his excellency Dr Zhang Maoming, the ambassador of China to Nepal. We Nepali people should understand that the success of CPC is a great lesson to design our own socioeconomic roadmap based entirely on our unique domestic realities, geo-political context and historical cultural heritage, rather than relying on copied external blueprints.
值此一百零五周年华诞之际，我谨通过中国驻尼泊尔大使张茂明博士阁下，向中国共产党领导集体、全体党员及中华人民共和国全体人民，致以最热烈、最诚挚的祝贺！我们尼泊尔人民应当认识到：中国共产党的成功，为我们提供了一个重要启示——必须完全立足本国独特国情、地缘政治现实与历史文化传统，自主设计我们的社会经济发展蓝图，而非依赖照搬外部模式。
Excellencies,
For over seven decades, Nepal-China cooperation has continuously deepened and matured, serving as an exemplary model of peaceful coexistence between neighbors of different sizes and social systems. China has been a closed neighbor, trust worthy friend, reliable partner, helping in politics, trade, culture, infrastructure, tourism, education, and cross border links, while always respecting Nepal’s independence, national sovereignty and integrity. Nepal- China border has been a border of peace. Similarly, Nepal, in turn, firmly upholds the One China policy and ensures our land is never used against our neighbor. However, the changing global landscape demands that we further intensify our cooperation to make Nepal-China relations even deeper, broader, and more comprehensive. There are many things we should have to do on the way forward.
各位阁下：
七十余年来，尼中合作不断深化、日益成熟，已成为大小不同、社会制度各异的邻国间和平共处的典范。中国始终是尼泊尔亲密邻邦、值得信赖的朋友、可靠的伙伴，在政治、贸易、文化、基础设施、旅游、教育及跨境联系等各领域给予支持，同时始终尊重尼泊尔的独立、国家主权与领土完整。尼中边界，是一条和平的边界。同样，尼泊尔也坚定奉行一个中国政策，确保尼泊尔领土永不被用于损害邻国利益。然而，面对不断变化的全球格局，我们必须进一步加强合作，推动尼中关系迈向更深层次、更广领域、更全方位的发展。前路之上，尚有许多工作亟待推进。
In this endeavor, both governments, our respective political institutions, and our peoples bear a vital responsibility. Looking ahead, we must move beyondfriendship based only on traditional diplomacy and build a proactive partnership based on strong economic ties and trust. By keeping regular dialogue between our political parties and learning from China’s governance systems, we can better carry out joint projects under the Belt and Road Initiative. This would help make trans Himalayan connectivity a reality. In 2019, President Xi, during his historic visit to Nepal had said Nepal could move from land locked to land linked country. That vision could be turned from a mere idea into a surprising reality. All of us must do our best to realize that great idea.
在此进程中，两国政府、各自的政治机构以及两国人民都肩负着重要责任。展望未来，我们应超越仅基于传统外交的友好关系，构建以坚实经济纽带与互信为基础的积极伙伴关系。通过保持政党间定期对话，学习中国的治理经验，我们可更有效地推进“一带一路”框架下的联合项目，使跨喜马拉雅互联互通从愿景变为现实。2019年，习近平主席在对尼泊尔进行历史性访问时曾指出，尼泊尔可从“陆锁国”转变为“陆联国”。这一远见卓识，完全有可能从理念转化为令人惊叹的现实。我们每个人都应竭尽全力，共同实现这一伟大构想。
Dear Friends,
Nepal welcomes greater cooperation under the BRI and values stronger people to people exchanges. Better connectivity, economic partnership, and mutual understanding will bring prosperity to both nations. Just as Mount Everest stands tall as a symbol of our shared geography and lasting friendship, our relationship will remain firm through any twist and turn of the time. By deepening cooperation and learning from each other, Nepal and China can move forward together toward a brighter, modern and more prosperous future. Let us continue to draw inspiration from each other’s journeys and work in unison for a peaceful, stable and prosperous tomorrow.
